Canadian Fleabane

More than meets the eye.

What do you know about this essential oil or herb?

If you were like me, you may have forgotten Young Living released this one as a single oil. And then if you are also inclined to have my thinking on new oils, perhaps you looked at it with a "meh" sort of thinking. Wondering, what would you need with an oil that probably has never occurred to you.

Ah curiosity...Sometimes I begin to research something and when the information is difficult to find, it causes me to be relentless in digging until acceptable and suitable research is found.

Such was the case with Canadian Fleabane essential oil. This one had to be found through searching out used for Fleabane as an herb and tea. Continuing on, I found this oil would greatly benefit me and many other women in my circle.

Essential oils can be broken into a couple of different categories. Or at least this makes it simpler for me to see how to use these oils and when.

There is the Emotion essential oil use, the Physical essential oil use, the Spiritual essential oil use, and the all of the above essential oil use.

For example-

Lemon is a more physically beneficial essential oil, while Lavender is a more emotionally benefitting essential oil. Frankincense would land in the all of the above category.

While all oils stimulate the mind and cause our emotions to go one way or the other, simply because of the aroma of the oil, not all oils benefit the physical body. Or at least to a noticeable degree.

Canadian Fleabane fits into the Physical category, pretty much, solely into this grouping. The aroma is not stupendous, not off putting, but there's little to no wow factor when first inhaled.

First of all, the leaves contain caffeic acid, which has an antioxidant and neuroprotective properties. In other words, it protects and helps brain function, and fends off pesky invaders like free radicals.

Native American tribes found a variety of uses for the plant as an astringent, diuretic, and expectorant.

On it's own as an herb, many have used this for swelling/inflammation of the airways (so think bronchitis or asthma), sore throats- this can also be from triggered allergies. Women have especially found this helpful for menstrual issues as the herb/oil stops bleeding. If there is a cut, applying Fleabane as an oil or salve has been shown to stop the bleeding immediately.

What's notable to me in the Young Living products Canadian Fleabane is already found it. Chances are, you may be taking this oil yet do not realize!

It's found in EndoGize, (incredible for the endocrine system) Coritstop, (a powerhouse when it comes to reducing stress related cortisol production) & Excite, the oil blend that revs up your energy and supports your immune system as you tackle the day.

EndoGize Endocrine System Supplement with DHEA helps women to balance naturally by supporting a healthy endocrine system.

DHEA is the most common hormone in the body and a precursor to over 50 other hormones. It is converted by enzymes into pregnenolone.

EndoGize is the strongest supplement Young Living carries for both men and women. Yes, gentlemen, you ought to be mindful of your endocrine system as well.

Most notably it contains the herb, Ashwaghanda also know as Indian Ginseng. It is not Ginseng, yet it gives energy in a similar way.

"Research has found that Ashwagandha improves resistance to stress by possibly decreasing cortisol production. Ashwagandha acts on the endocrine system (which produces hormones) by encouraging hormone balance and reduces hot flashes and anxiety. Added bonus? It counteracts that (undesirable) PMS mood you woke up in." (source: The Huffington Post) Ashwagandha is used to reduce levels of fat and sugar in the blood. Ashwagandha is also used as an "adaptogen" to help the body cope with daily stress, and as a general tonic.
This ayruvedic herb is an excellent source of energy for both men and women and has been use for centuries to fight fatigue, inflammation, and supports an increase in fertility for men. Blood sugar levels, insulin sensitivities are helped with this supplement as well. More than Cortistop, EndoGize reduces cortisol levels. Cortistop is actually more for a chronic stress situation, where EndoGize gives acute support during short periods or bursts of stressful situations.

Many have found an increase in libido, and because of the DHEA in EndoGize, mood swings and night sweats decrease in women when taking this.

Lastly this is the only hormone support supplement that contains digestive enzymes, so if someone is looking to reduce the number of supplements needed to take, this would help reduce that amount.

Recommended protocol for this one is one capsule twice a day for four weeks, then discontinue for 2 weeks. Ashwaghanda is a powerful herb and you need to give your body a rest.

CortiStop cortisol reducing supplement was designed for such a person in mind. It is for women and contains with DHEA, black cohosh, pregnenolone and essential oils is the perfect balancing supplement. This is a natural and fabulous way to support your endocrine system and reduce stress levels in the body.

Having a difficulty of maintaining a healthy weight and an optimal health of cardiovascular systems, cortisol has long been thought to be the challenge. Excessive stress in the body creates higher estrogen which limits the ability of the thyroid and adrenal glands to manage cortisol levels.

Symptoms of high cortisol levels include: feelings of fatigue and low energy, weight gain, and lesser ability to manage stress levels.

As you can see, these listed products above are beneficial on a physical level, hence the addition of Canadian Fleabane essential oil to them. It's important to remember that when an oil is infused to a supplement, what you'll notice is an increased absorption into the bloodstream of the nutrients within the supplement- up to at least 65%! Without the addition of essential oils within the supplement, the body can only take on about 25% of the nutrients. Seems like a significant increase, wouldn't you agree?

If you've now become intrigued with Canadian Fleabane and/or the products containing this stunning oil, and you're wanting to purchase this for your own use, you can do so here.

As always, I am an email/text/call away should you require any assistance.
